About Sarah

With over eight years of experience caring for women and babies throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, Sarah has supported hundreds of families through a wide range of breastfeeding and infant feeding challenges. These include painful feeding, latching difficulties, low milk supply, engorgement, mastitis, nipple pain/trauma, breast refusal, infant weight concerns and feeding after tongue-tie release.

Sarah is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a Registered Midwife with Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines, and an accredited Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC) Practitioner (Possums). She has also completed training in Orofacial Myology through the Australian Academy of Orofacial Myology, expanding her knowledge of infant oral function, tongue ties, oral restrictions, and the important role that the muscles of the mouth, face and airway play in feeding, breathing and development. This additional training enhances her ability to provide comprehensive, evidence-informed assessments and individualised feeding support for babies and their families.

Sarah believes every family deserves compassionate, non-judgemental care that is tailored to their own goals. She takes the time to understand your concerns, explain the ‘why’ behind feeding challenges, and work alongside you to develop practical strategies that fit your family's unique circumstances.

My Approach

I believe every family deserves compassionate, evidence-informed care tailored to their unique feeding goals. Every consultation is personalised, recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to breastfeeding and infant feeding.

Drawing on my experience I take a holistic approach to feeding, considering infant oral function, maternal wellbeing and the many factors that influence feeding success.

My goal is to empower you with practical knowledge, gentle support and the confidence to make informed decisions, helping you achieve the best possible feeding experience for you and your baby.

I look forward to supporting you and your family on your feeding journey.
